Exmoor with its beautiful moor land and the Quantock hills are within easy reach, where pony trekking and escorted horse riding can be arranged.
The scenery and walks on the farm provide a unique experience of the Somerset countryside at its best. We are members of FWAG (farming and wildlife conservation group) and our ongoing aim is to preserve and care for the diverse range of wildlife and habitat that exists here.
The holiday accommodation is surrounded by open countryside, in a peaceful, romantic setting - the 200 acres of the family dairy farm. Ideal for a peaceful walk, to unwind and relax in beautiful countryside surroundings.
There is an 'oak tree walk' across the fields and a large garden with a round house leading to the stream and the fields, with several footpaths. The cottages are situated around or are part of the seventeenth century listed farmhouse. Both The Granary and The Old Mill have been converted from a Granary and former mill and are about 300 years old.
There is an abundance of wildlife, and several footpaths. |
